soooo..after much dithering i decided its time to pull my thumb out of me bkside and crack on with "mertle"...ill be uploading some pics of the strip down and hopfully the rebuild..i must say at this point...why a landy.....british enginering..old style no lights to warn as in the bleep and twangs.
i know ive left my lights on ive just opened my door...they are straight forward motors nothing fancy and she stood for 7 months i put a few ltrs of petrol in charged the battery and three cranks later bumf she was fired up...gotta love that

hi...this picture was taken a few years back of "mertle",i brought her after she was laid up in a barn.
basically the chassis needs some attention and the bulk head.its all the basic places that they go in that needs the work.only problem is...ive never welded or done this sort of thing before,but as they say "every day is a school day".
